i keep reading and rereading the 1D VIP Correspondent official rules and regulations, etc and I keep going over the “authenticity as a blogger” and “existing social media following”… I mean, am I an authentic blogger? Do I have a decent social media following? Will my application be laughed at and tossed in the trash as soon as it’s seen? I’m so nervous about this, I want this opportunity so badly.
I know what you might be thinking: just another crazy, obsessed directioner… well you are sadly mistaken! Now don’t get me wrong dem cuties have a special place in my heart, but this opportunity, this summer job if you will… it’s so much bigger than that. It’s everything I could ever wish to do with my life; it’s the perfect gateway to the career of my dreams!
I dream of hosting radio shows and late night talk shows. I dream of writing columns based on all the stimulating conversations I get to have with the world’s most interesting people. This opportunity is exactly what I’ve been waiting for, and the fact that it’s One Direction’s tour is just the icing on the cake!
I want this; i want this BAD. Hopefully it’s in the cards… Hopefully the judges will realize that, despite my mediocre social media following, I have some merit.

I know I have the charisma, energy, and people person skills to effectively run a great and entertaining channel, both in written and video form. I WAS BORN FOR THIS JOB, and that’s without even considering my obsession with chips ahoy and one direction. And blogging.
Speaking of, this whole opportunity brought me back to the time when I regularly blogged about day to day triumphs, anxieties, and trials. I had a lil bit of bloggin’ mixed in with some cool picz mixed in with a song of the day!
WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT FUN CYCLE!?
I’ll tell ya what, I think I got a lil lazy. And I became momentarily obsessed with photography and spent all my free time roaming a zillion different online daily life and event galleries. {A personal fave is hobogestapo; look them up!}
Well anyway, back to the problem at hand. I think I will apply; I just need to dig deep into my inner self and figure out the most AMAZING way to market myself, nabisco, and most importanty, One Direction. <3 And, in honor of this potential opportunity, I will return to my original blog patterns… buuuut I’ll return to them next week, seeing as I have two huge exams and twelve pages worth of writing all due by the middle of the week. Eek!
